I'm not really one to complain (well, OK, maybe I am), but sitting here in the UK looking at leaden skies, turning up the heating, hearing about storms and flooding up the East and West coasts.......should this sort of video really be allowed? Teasing and tormenting us less fortunate souls? Is that really fair??

We were THERE just two weeks ago....aargh!  Lovely video anyway, well done, can't wait to get back.

Great effort for a first video. Perhaps not the best film to be shot on Fuerteventura this year, but Ridley Scott has a bigger budget.

That reminds me, I shot quite a bit of video when I was over last month, I really should start editing it. Unfortunately my failure to use a tripod means it will be seriously shaky in comparison with Sensible Junior's.

If I haven't got a tripod, I'll sit down, or lean against a post (or a rock In Ferte). Otherwise, feet apart, legs straight, elbows in, keeps the camera a lot steadier. I've sat through too many earthquake films of my own in the past.

I'm used to using a monopod with heavy DSLR camera/lens combinations, but it wasn't practical to bring that gear to Fuerte. I was just using a little Nikon compact, a tripod seemed a bit much trouble at the time.

Anyway I've just downloaded some editing software, I'll get on with production....
