There have been many team changes and less teams are competing compared with last season. This league features teams from Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.

There are 2 teams from Fuerteventura in this league - Union Puerto del Rosario and SD Villaverde Norte, who were promoted at the end of last season.

The clue is probably in the name, but where exactly do SD Villaverde Norte play?

I've had a look on Google Earth, so is it the ground on the hill on the west side of the village behind The Cooperativa del Campo de Villaverde?
