Security at East Midlands airport

Hi all, I have booked a flight via East Midlands this time. The last time myself and Sangria from the Forum flew from there Security was a nightmare and took over an hour. Has anyone flown recently from there and if so have they relaxed the security a little? How long should I expect the Security queue to take approximately? We nearly missed the flight the last time because of it.

It's time dependant FI, early mornings are a mare - I treat myself to a Fast Track ticket, it was about £3.50 last time, in change for the machine

Thanks Paul. So its still bad at times. I never heard of the Fast Track ticket. Does it allow you to get to the top of the security queue?

Don't know about East M. but usually "Fast Track" is a seperate queue that feeds into, & blends with the front of the Oik's line. If a lot of folk happen to have an FT ticket, it might not be any faster.
