Great loss to the world of music. I had the great privilege of working with the Bee Gees back in 1973, great bunch of guys, born in the Isle of Man and raised in South Manchester, before emmigrating to Australia.

Me and Kenny Dene will be singing our Tribute to Robin tonight at Legends.

Frank Young.

From haunting songs like Massachusetts & New York Mining Disaster through to the great disco hits of the 70's what GREAT talents - if you're 50's and 60's they helped to mold your lives

Frank - we have to travel from Tuineje - what time shall we get there to join you in your tribute.

I was a pro club DJ in the 60's and 70's. The influence The Bee Gees had on the charts and the club dance scene can NEVER be underestimated. They are up there with The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Supertramp, Pink Floyd, etc. I'm going to Legends tonight

FRY

We start at 10.00pm, but it´s only a couple of songs, not a full BG´s Tribute. Sorry if I confused you.

Spike On Q

Do four songs Frank - I have to be home in bed by 11pm anyway with a cup of hot chocolate

Spike On Q

Otherwise a pumpkin turns into me!

Respect for acknowledging the passing of a true great in your bar

Hi all,
Have only just seen this thread.....Just to clear up any confusion, tonights show is the normal 'Young & Dene' show, which will also include a couple of Bee Gees songs in tribute to Robin Gibb who sadly passed away today.
Cheers, Kenny Dene
(PS - stevecrane - "Legends Bar" , est 1999, is owned by me, Kenny Dene, [8D], not FRY (Frank Young)...!!

Strange how philosophical he was ? He said it was "karma" and "punishment " for all their success ?
Very talented guy along with his brothers, such a shame.....
