Yesterday decided to take the car over to Lanzarote, visit Ikea and just take a look around.  What a disappointment. Ikea was a shambles, cramped and small -  was expecting something akin to our Edinburgh store. Queues at checkout very slow, so not impressed and will go back to ordering online and picking up from the store in Fuerte.  And it was so busy, roads around Arrecefi were scary and roadworks everywhere!
And May is suppose to be a quiet month?
Only plus point is the Blanc shop in Playa Blanca was having a one day sale and everything in the shop was 10€! Nice!!!
I am soooo glad I bougth in fuerte!

Yep the circumvalacion can be like a race track just past the airport. It can be real scary if your heading out to Costa Teguise as there is a quick left off the main drag and the left turn is from the fast lane ! They come tearing up behind you, when you have to slow down to get your turn.

Arrecife is quite narrow and crowded too, especially around Calle Leon y Castillo.

Driving is the only time when 'manana' doesn't ever apply in Spain.
