A week of cloud?!

Hi

I'm visiting Fuerteventura on the 21st May for 1 week. I decided to check the weather forecast on accuweather...

and I was surprised to see that cloud is forecast for the entire week! (every day prior to this week is sun or sunny intervals)

Is this likely to be accurate? I know its still a while away but... It's a little bit depressing!

Sorry, my posting refers to this week coming. Yes, from the 21st it's forecast Cloud and Rain.
Sorry, but this is  good for us residents, as it will clean up all the dirt and dust that gets deposited by the Calima .

I was surprised that it is forecast for a whole week though, in your experience is that common for this time of year?

How likely do you think that forecast will be accurate, given that it is 10 days from now?

I don't think it will be accurate.  It's never cloudy for a whole week on Fuerteventura   It'll be sunny - it's May

Just back , 30 degrees every day. We were glad of a passing cloud. Forecast is generally worst case scenario and is nearly always better. Said 22 degrees for us with 3 cloudy days, only had one and it brightened up. Don't worry, its a  ruse  to keep people going elsewhere !

Thanks for the comments guys...! Fingers crossed its not accurate then. Looking back at May's weather typically there's barely ever cloud for more than a day... so here's hopin'! Would be the worst luck ever if it is as forecast though!!!

I've never had bad weather in May, generally a few clouds in the morning, and the sun tends to burn them up by noon

Weather forecasts change daily, so In 10 days it will be completely different. Like they all said, May is normally gorgeous
