IBI Payment

IBI Taken out of my bank account this morning, same amount as last year.

My only concern was the description behind the transaction - Salaries - Social Security!

Do you pay to La Oliva Dave?  €33.57 gone out of ours, Antigua, which I presume is the Basura.

I lose track as they keep switching the dates round for IBI and Basura.

Dave is in Antigua, like us Deso.

Car tax and Basura goes out in October.  The payment at this time of year is for IBI house tax.

My IBI is the same as last year as well

Sounds just like the UK...except it would be 5 times that amount lol

We are in La Oliva.
Have just recently bought a new car.
During the process we were informed that All Taxes Start on January 1st every year. You have time to pay i.e. up to May- June before you get a fine added. N.B. We had to pay the old car tax for 2014 in full because we still owned it into 2014. Also paid the full Tax on the new car for 2014 ( from 1st January).
Are about to pay House & Basura taxes.

Think it depends on the engine size of the car? Minimal compared to the UK. 47€ I think ours was.

Our previous car was a 1.2 -  0ur new one is 1.6.  = the same car tax? So more than that it probably goes up, not sure.
