Hi we will be returning to cotillion for 1st time in about 4 yrs! We decided that we wanted some winter warmth for a change from going down to Cornwall and being blasted ! What sort of celebrations should we expect? Never been at this time of year before. Any suggestions we are a family of 4 . Two sons aged 17 and 20 . Thankyou .

Shame though - there will be NO EX Cornish pasties in this year celebration feast

There are a few bars doing some bits for New Years, the fireworks on the beach are normally pretty good, try millennium bar for a few drinks after a meal then head down to the beach, hotels will have some entertainment on and you can normally just walk in but drinks very expensive. Dog and duck is quite a good place as well, a lot depends on what you like either way apart from last couple of days weather will be nice not like uk

Going to Early Doors, Montecastillo centre, in Caleta. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food. They are doing a golden ticket which gets us food (curries, chilli etc) bingo, play your cards right and a raffle. Prizes are apparently drinks hampers!! All followed by karaoke. Should be a good view of the fireworks from the balcony too.
All that for 7 euros, that'll do for me.
