It's that cold even the daffs are not in bloom yet. 4'C at 8pm tonight. On a positive, at least it's not raining.

Too wet for me to even go out and get coal and turf in, so used the CH oil system.

I love a peat fire the smell is just amazing used to go to the outer hebradise when I was young ang hike climb and canoe there and the hut we stayed in had a peat fire was great (and kept the midges at bay)
