Thanks CTM yes looks a much better bet at €90 for a group 1 car against €192 for a group 1 from CICAR they have lost the plot. They were never the absolute cheapest but that is just unbelievable

Quick question  if you meet them in the car park how do they take a card payment? Do you have to then drive to their office?

No he has an up to date machine that scans your card and you sign the slip. He gives you one half while he keeps the other.
Brilliant transaction and is as every bit as quick as the internal offices of other renters in the terminal.

Nothing but good from me on this company, except not to look too far ahead with them as their prices for some reason go skywards in August when I last looked!

KWC Thanks for your help at €90 I shall be making a booking. I had said I would olny use the ones at the airprt having had a bad experience with Orlando (they wern't there and no one was answering the phone number). However if you collect and drop and pay at the airport, I'm not fussed if they don't have an office there.

Right I have my confirmation it says meet at space 531, I normally leave arrivals go up the steps to the hire car section that brings you out near the car exit. Where would I go to find space 531. I'm guessing top of the stairs and turn left as I recall if you turn right at the top end it finnishes with Payless spaces

Can the Man

Your dead right Trumpy, turn left.

When you leave teh car back, you leave it as close to 531, and put the parking ticket and key under the drivers seat.

ONE WORD OF WARNING - DO NOT LEAVE YOUR HIRE CONTRACT IN THE CAR AS THIS WILL HAVE YOUR CREDITCARD NUMBER ON IT. ALSO YOU NEED TO CARRY IT WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES, SO PUT IT WITH YOUR LICENCE.

KWC

Spot on Can.

Also remember the other rules that you have to have florescent jacket/waistcoat, warning triangles  (2) also if you wear glasses for driving, then I believe you need to carry a back up spare set.

There will be much more to contend with and others will fill you in no doubt.

Very true Kenny.

Concerning teh glasses, if your licence says you need glasses for driving then you MUST have a spare pair with you at all times.

The hire car is suppose to have the flurescent waistcoat  and triangle, check before you leave.

If you break down, do not attempt to get out and do anything without first putting on the flurescent waistcoat.

Happy driving.  :) :) :) :) :)
