Good evening everyone. Just moving here. Can anyone tell me is there a place like a B&Q on the island. ALso looking for kitchens other than ikea

Sorry you haven't had a reply to this before now.  There are two such shops in Rosario on the Prieto Risco estate. Take the ring road and turn into Rosario on the road which goes to Antigua in the other direction. Prieto Risco is right at the roundabout opposite Lidl.
Turn right again imediately on entry.  Bricamax, a small B&Q type shop is quite soon on the left, Nort y Sur further up and much bigger.
Prieto Risco has pretty much all you need in the hardware line. There are a few ironmongers, Hidraulica which does plumbing, at least two timber merchants and a Chinese bazaar.  Electron does all sorts of household electricals, and Dielca is an electrical supplier much used by the trade.
Give it a visit and have a drive round.
Also Savedra, a huge grey building off on the right of the La Oliva Road into Rosario have just opened a massive ferreteria to  replace their old shop next door.

ps - Nort y Sur do rather posh looking kitchens, but I would recommend The Kitchen Master - they advertise in most of the free newspapers, and have always done good work for us.

Hi my sincere apologies for not saying thank you re: the place to shop for kitchens. Thank you.  I didn't go back n this site because I was  on free wifi and I was told that the forum did not like to reply whilst on that.
