How's this for a bargain?

It looks like the banks are finally dumping their stock to cash buyers.

I forget the name of this development, but it's a prime site on corner of Grandes Playas. It's always looked a little run down, but if developed you'd end up with a fantastic place.

I note that a nearby estate agent is marketing these at E78K.

I'm tempted to snap one up. Any comments from folk living their?

I've often wondered about that place - enormous but a total shambles (at least, from the outside). There are still people staying/living there, even though the majority have had 'for sale' signs since before I arrived a year ago. But I can't for the life of me see why it's called 'residencial'. Some of those places are right over the Talk of the Town etc - surely they're only for tourists. I mean, if you're going to be out every night until Corralejo closes then that's fine, but you wouldn't want to live there, surely. Nice price for a fantastic spot, though, particularly if the licences get sorted out and you can put it up for rent without fearing a knock at the door and an 18k€ fine.

It has one of the best pools in Corralejo. I have stayed there a couple of times, it used to be with Thomsons or some such.
Mentor to the boneheads.

Having looked for many years before buying our own place in Fuerte, we came to the conclusion that anything half decent sells immediately if it is pitched at a realistic price.  To grab a real bargain you need to be in the right place at the right time. Other properties just sit and sit, there's always a reason why.  We bought ours early 2012, it was on the market for less than 24 hours with 5/6 viewings arranged in that time.
