Just spent a few days in the UK. Got stuck in traffic behind this Truck driving from Liverpool. Only funny if you speak Spanish.  ( google translate it )

LOL!  Reminds me of the story I read about the car manufacturer Mitsubishi who imported the "pajero" model into Spain.  They soon had to change the name!!!

Yes, I see quite a few 'Joda' lorries on my motorway travels, and since I started learning Spanish it always raises a smile. They're actually a UK transport company who offer distribution 'throughout Europe and beyond'....can't BELIEVE they've not been advised of the implications in Spain :o

Rolls Royce cars used to be called Silver Spirit , Silver Ghost etc

The Silver Mist did not sell well in germany as Mist means 'Manure'.

Muddy fox had a women's bike they called the Muddy Vixen - again in germany "wichsen" - pronounced 'vixen' means 'hedonistic pleasure involving wrist exercise'

Very discreetly put, admin......applies to" pajero" too

Yeh, I remember the Mitsubishi Pajero  :o  Maybe the Joda transport company is owned by a Spaniard with a sense of humour  ;D
