We bought ours on the golf in Caleta direct from the developer. I would think the cheapest way would be to buy privately, as long as you have a good solicitor.

we used Bliss property and found them very very helpful. They organised everything and ferried us around for our NIE numbers and to the notary. We also used the solicitor they had recommended (we checked them out first and all was above board). You may get cheaper but the whole process was made easy for us

We have also had dealings wth Bliss and found them very helpful. 

Avoid the obvious estate agent like the plague!

We used Carmen Villizan in Caleta, they looked after us well, we already had our NIHE no.'s and had a solicitor in Corellejo (Damsel) so they had no input on that.

We had one or two small issues wiith the property, but nothing Bianca couldn't sort out, so overall we were happy with them.

We are looking to buy in Corralejo area to live not rent out , We did think about the Green Park development but were slightly put off poss full of holiday lets!  but  it needs to be a 3 bed house

Soozzee, maybe you should look for something away from the holiday resort. More towards La Oliva where there aren't tourists. It's not far from Coralejo.

Soozzee you might find a bargain where we have our house in Marina Village up beside the nine hole golf course in Corralejo. The bank have recently reposed the empty ones from the builder and will be looking to offload them soon. Three bedrooms and quite area. If you go on the Bliss site you can see ours as we rent it out long term over the winter months. Good luck

Exactly what i was thinking Paddster,    go to those  in the know and save time and wasted effort 

Once all sorted, believe me , ill be on here annoying people for more local knowledge , hopefully make a few new friends
