A very under rated and little used but excellent beach to spend the day on. Have they built the kiosks yet that were promised, does any one know?

Captain Sensible

It is very unused.  It's only busy with locals in the summer evenings.

Yes a fantastic looking beach ,it looks great!
We went home last saturday after 5 months and on our way to the airport we agreed (me and the mrs) that it was a fantastic view and memory for all leaving the island!
Back in october for the winter.

What is in the big building at the airport end of the beach?
I keep meaning to go down there some time and have a look.  :D

Looking forward to the day I tick the "One way only" box when booking flights to Fuerte. [:)]

It's the now defunct, Fuerteventura Parador or Government owned hotel. It gradually got less and less used and the Cabildo took it over to try and revive it but without look. The Cabildo are at present wondering what to do with it. It's in a bad state of repair.

According to Trivago, it's still on their website as available. Fuerteventura - Playa Blanca.

I went there about 15 years ago for dinner. It's beautiful inside, very olde-world Spanish with polished wooden floors. It's a shame if it's left to rot .

Agree with Woe, we went there about 12 years ago when some Spanish  friends were staying there, lovely place inside. I hope it doen't get bulldozed.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and im not sure about the former .....
