Its a great place isn't it ? I hope it stays a quiet little jewel that doesn't get ruined like the other islands.......That picture Fi is stunning - imagine being there now ? No-one around and the gentle lapping of the waves at your feet, damn i wish i was there right now, need them 6 numbers to come up  :(
But thank you for that Fi,made my day that has....... ;D

We are so very lucky to live here - I think the "Friendliest Locals" award should be given to the Majoraro people of Fuerteventura for the happy and welcoming approach they show to their visitors - they're almost as friendly as people from Nottingham

With an airport that could take another 4 million visitors a year without a problem. The tourist potential for this Island is huge. Proberly the best holiday climate in Spain if not the world. Just need the marketing team to use the trip advisor No 1 position and sell it to all those poor people freezing in Northern Europe..

Good wum Fi, you are a mind of information, that great news.  I get very defensive when people say there is nothing to do in fuert, bars close early blah blah blah (not the bars I go to). So i tell them thats exactly why we go there peace and quiet, a safe place.  I have done ayia napa, santa ponsa, kusadassi, greek islands etc, I now just want to go on hols and do basically nothing.

My kids 23 and 26 love it here when they come for holidays. In Caleta there are 15 plus good eating places with quality food that they pay twice as much for in Leeds and Manchester where they live. No mad night life but its a relaxed place with plenty to do and the best climate in the world...

That's it for me ashworth - no mad nightlife,i'm too old for that stuff though i don't begrudge young 'uns wanting it,live n let live i say.....Keep Fuerte quiet for me i say - i'm gonna retire there  ;D ;D ;D

Be careful what you wish for. Take a look at Tenerife, I remember when it was quite a nice place, not a concrete number two hole.

Number two hole???????????   No it's a $hit hole, nothing to do with golf at all. Lets see if this gets by the censor
