The church and an old building next to it have been renovated but neither of them are ever open when I call there.  Also the Doctors house is having repairs and is currently closed to visitors.  Does anyone have any information about any of this?

Renovated old building was a very early maternity hospital - run by Doctor Mena who lived across the road

As with everything else we'll have to wait and see when they are opening

It's taken about 2 years to do the work.  They must be close to finishing now.

It doesn't even need refurbishment work for things to be closed. I went to Poblado de la Atalaya during my last visit, found it closed on what should have been a working day.

I've never found the church at Ampuyenta open either.
