Accomodation for long rent

I am not sure this is in the correct category! Sorry!!

I was made redundant last June, since then I have worked mostly in a language school teaching sports, and I worked a winter season last year in France, having never skied or able to speak French, I also didn't know anyone!
anyway after always going to Cornwall as a kid I loved the life of the beach, and wanted a campervan! i now have money and the attitude of YOLO! so instead of moving to Cornwall I am thinking to live in Fuerteventura for 1-3 months, basically to learn to surf and love life.

I have looked on a few websites where you are able to rent apartments for 3 months inclusive of bills, i will most probably travel alone, so I am looking to meet new people, and find a cheap room/apartment with basic amenities.

if anyone has any ideas on rooms to let, or cheap inclusive apartments please let me know. I am looking at any months to be honest, however it is easier for me to find summer work so I should imagine it won't be between June-September.
