Buying a new car..

Now that I have my NIE and a job paying social, Is it possible for me to get credit to buy a new car? If so what is the usual deposit and how would I be credit checked? Thanks x

Maybe your bank would give you a loan, or at least tell you if you would be eligible.

I'm not sure how it works here.. do you need to build a credit rating like the UK?

I've no personal experience, but I just found this on a website.....

Ok, thanks Emmi, the deposit would be fine but I wouldnt have much of a record to check since I've only just got here... thanks anyway x
