Hi,
My family and I are holidaying in Corralejo in December for 10 days soon...yipee, we LOVE IT and this will be our third visit. Can anyone recommend areas for snorkelling please without taking an expensive tour? We have a 3 year old child so are unable to Kayak unfortunately. We will have a hire car. Thank you in advance. xxx

I recommend the lagoons just north of El Cotillo - but watch the weather/waves etc it can be dangerous even in the lagoons, especially for children.

Yea - Cotillo lagoons are awesome for snorkelling.  They are very shallow in parts so get your three year old some goggles, throw in some bread and just watch the show.  You can attract quite large fish even in just a couple of feet of water.
I've often seen snorkellers just offshore in Corralejo town, too.

With the rain falling at the minute you could probably snorkel round my garden
