Double standards

Hotels which are built illegally are able (in the case of Lanzarote) to pay 200,000 euros per year to stay open and yet  private homes which are  affected by the Coastal laws are being demolished. The Spanish way never ceases to amaze me. I dont know how they can get away with such double standards.

Just a little rant on my soap box this morning.

I would urge anyone who is thinking of buying a property within 100metres from the sea to check these Coastal Laws very carefully.

It does not surprise me in the slightest fi. Its the sort of decision that is par for the course with the spanish authorities. If the European Union breaks up god help us all . Without the limited constraints of the sometimes feeble EU, i dread to think what laws will be passed by them to the detriment of foriegn owners.
