The forecast we have been following says; some rain Sunday, loads of rain Monday & Tuesday.
There is chance that the end of storm "Nadine" may come close (or pass us by as usual!!!) to Fuerte? The other possible rain is coming up the west coast of Africa at the moment, towards us.
We have only had 2 small showers of rain in Corralejo since April 2011. Seriously!    but we love the sun & just have to water plants by hand.

The forecast was a yahoo one.. I know you need rain over there but I need sun 

I'm hoping its gone by the time I step off the plane on Friday after I'm there a few weeks a bit of rain will probably be a novelty..I thought, just my bloomin luck when I read it lol x

I've been living here since 4th April this year and seen rain twice. Once, ironically, on the first night we got here. Both times it didn't last long and were just showers, however, these forecasts seems to suggest thunderstorms etc. Oh well, it'll be back to our glorious sunshine before we know it

Just watched the TV weather forecast on channel 24h. The rain, as said by Ole Man River, is because of Hurricane Nadine. According to the TV weather forecast, the rain here is expected to start Sunday night.

The Spanish weather forecast on the TV today said that Nadine is still 'static' around The Azores and they are still uncertain about the path it will take.

Please all go over to the west coast, look out to sea, and all together blow like mad....with a bit of hope, and a joint effort, you can blow that darn Nadine away from the islands,  and when I arrive on Wednesday it will be sun, sun,sun :-)

There's a Yellow Alert in place for Sunday afternoon and Monday for the rain associated with Tropical Storm Nadine - a 55% chance of rain according to the forecast!  Not very windy though.

The current Atlantic shipping forecast shows it turning round and heading west again back towards South America - we could catch the tail though so best be prepared

 The rain forecast for Sunday evening & Monday is coming up from the West African coast. Should be a good couple of downpours if we are lucky!!!  For those of us that really WANT the rain.  Look on El Tiempo weather.

A 4 minute heavy rain shower in Caleta this morning at 7.10am as I was walking to work.  I ran back home to get the car!  And it stopped.

We know the Holidaymakers don't want rain when they come over of course
We who live here watch the unwatered trees & plants die because the Spanish people forget that they have to have water when there is NO RAIN!
