Thanks everyone.

While I was sweating like a condemned man, the Granddaughter was oblivious to what was going on around her :D

Hope she enjoys looking after me when im lying there on the sunlounger, feeding me with drinks, snacks, turning my page over and applying the sun cream.
Well its the least she could do under the circumstances ;D

fuerte crazy

Really pleased for you and your family.  Have a lovely holiday.

Is there any reason why I`ve applied for two new passports for the kids...sent them off together in the same envelope with a joint payment..and only ONE arrived yesterday?  ::)

Some bloke just put it through the door...when mine and hubbys came a few weeks back,we had to sign for them  ..but not this time!

Don`t know if I should be worried?  ::)
Or is it normal practice to send just one out?...

Dee - Be afraid, be very afraid. Read back on Kenny's experiences.  ;)

Hi Dee
Just checked our kids, which we applied for at the same time, seemed to remember them coming on separate days. One expires 6 days before the other. There is also a difference of  1027 in there numbers. Guess they are so busy, sure it will arrive, ours just came through the post, didn't have to sign. Think that was because we didn't pay for recorded delivery  :-* :-*

Got a letter on Saturday morning....there is something wrong with K`s pic  ::)...so have had to send off new pics  ;)...which then goes to our local passport office so hopefully won`t take too long ....I was starting to worry though......

I was getting worried for you Dee, and I was about to say a few prayers to help out and all that, but glad its a technical hitch and you will no doubt sort that out easily enough.

BTW we sent in all the appeal paperwork, evidence etc to a national paper that runs a name and shame and often gets results for the little man. That was all of 5 weeks ago or so, and never heard a thing from them  ??? :(

If you get your photos done at a studio, they usually guarantee them to pass inspection.
It barely costs any more than using a machine, too.

I hope you do hear something back...it just seems to me that they don`t have any sort of system in place...they proved that with mine...had to sign for our two...then just stuck the next one through the door...whats that all about?  Should they be signed for...or not?  ???

I won`t be happy until its here in my hand  ::)

It seems my daughters face wasn`t big enough in the photo  ???..couldn`t work that out myself..as you can`t move the seats back or forwards..so this time I got her to lean forward a bit and hope thats Ok..sending it off today..so fingers crossed again  ;)

In my opinion, all passports should be signed for Dee, especially in this day and age!

I hope your replacement goes well.

Glad you got sorted Dee. It is crazy the way these are sent out right enough.

I sent all the supporting documentation out to a Scottish well known paper that helps out in thye situation we were in. Hoping they would be able to assist my daughter get back her money for the replacement passport, but not heard a cheep from them either.  Near wonder I get crabby at times.  :D
