Parasol

Another question guys, looking for a good cantilever parasol with base had a look in Zentrum and Ikea, just standard parasol in Zentrum, Ikea has cantilever. Has anyone bought one from Ikea or could recommend where to buy one.

Cannot help with a parasol Willie, but as for a base we bought one in El Mattoral, it must weigh 35/40 Kilos coming from Caleta going to Mattoral it is on the corner on the roundabout, cannot remember the name, but it has a red and white shop sign.

Hi Try Saavedra, Calle Gran Canaria, 165, 35600 Puerto Del Rosario. Have a great choice of garden furniture. Bought my large umbrella there and the base which is 50kg and has 4 wheels all with brakes. More than happy with it. Also JYSK in the shopping centre in Puerto have them.

Willie, If you decide to go to Saavadra, which is good advice when we bought our stuff we did not know it existed, head int Puerto as if you are going to Ideal but ignore the final exit for Ideal go onto the next one {there is some sort of windmill on it so you cannot miss it go off there, take the first exit into Puerto, and it is the big building  on your right clearly marked Saavedra.

Went to Saavadra today and bought the base with wheels and brakes what a piece of kit, and large parasol all for the pricely sum of 81â,¬. Thanks for the advice guys.
