Casa Marcos in Villaverde has closed their kitchen.
Really a pity that one of our preferred restaurants is now history,
They were one of the three restaurants on Fuerteventura awarded a BIB by Michelin.

That's sad. Never failed to have a great experience there, and I mean 'experience' as opposed to just 'something to eat'.

I can't imagine they closed because of lack of business? They always seemed busy and booking was often necessary - so I'm guessing it is a lifestyle choice by the owners?

If that is the case, then fair play to them and I wish them well.

I'm curious to know about the other BIB restaurants here on FV, please share your knowledge Erik

Ironworks, there is Casa santa Maria in Betancuria with a BIB.
Seems to be good but if it's worth the trip? (lunch only, figures, who will drive that road in the dark after a couple of wine?)
From hear-say there is a hotel restaurant way down south with a BIB.
