An artical from Lanzarote news.

The subject line is a reference to the fact that all EU citizens can now enjoy data roaming here in Lanzarote as part of their normal home package. I think it's a fantastic, and well overdue move by the union, and it finally means you won't have to rely on dodgy hotel wifi, and you'll be able to upload images to social, use maps to find your way around the island and enjoy all the benefits of having data roaming, just as you do at home. The cellular infrastructure here is generally good - I can't think of anywhere on the island that doesn't have 3g, and 4g covers all the resorts areas and main towns and it's very fast. I believe this will be a big benefit to tourism as people share more of their holidays in real time on Facebook, showing off the beauty of the island to their friends who haven't been here before.

Any chance this coming to Fuerteventura?
