Hi everyone.

Looking to buy a property in Fuerteventura and will need a mortgage to do so.  Any recommendations for banks that speak English or what is the best way to go about this.  I am based in Ireland and do not want to take a mortgage out here.  My research shows there is an arrangement fee charged.  Also need a recommendation for an English speaking lawyer.

Don't know anything regarding a mortgage, sorry but we used Fuerteventuralaw for our purchase. Their email is info@fuerteventuralaw.com Louise speaks English and does all the arrangements, translations etc. No problems with our purchase at all, would recommend. HTH

You might want to try Santander for your mortgage they seem to specialise in low rate mortgages for non residents, avoid BANKIA, nightmare to deal with.
