Hello, as a regular visitor to wonderful Corralejo I frequently check the webcams but recently have found some of them not working? not sure who services these cams but maybe someone who is a resident can make a few enquiries as a lot of people use this service

Firstly welcome to the forum, hope you like it and stay around. New contributors are always welcome. Can`t answer your query but hopefully one of the residents, on here, will.

In the meantime please accept my apologies for being troubled by the village idiot
I HATE computer thingyss

Looks like the village idiot agreed with you...and deleted his idiotic post.  :D

Hiya,
This is the website I use for viewing webcams on Fuerte:

http://www.fuerteventuraplayas.com/en/webcams/el-cotillo-la-concha

There are other cameras around the island and you can see where they are by following the links on that website.  Unfortunately, several have gone "off-line" recently, which is usually due to the sponsor (the local cafe/ restaurant) ending the sponsorship.  Sad, but unfortunately, a fact of hard commercial life  >:(

I will be on La Concha beach next Monday, for SEVEN whole weeks - great joy   :D

Tamkid

Rock Island have a Webcam, gives you an idea of how busy Corralejo is, sort of.

I recently queried the 2 Tindaya ones being offline and was told they should be back up in a couple of weeks.

Further south (as we're on the subject), I couldn't see this on the other link. Perhaps my eyesight is going...

I was looking at this one

http://www.fuerteventuraplayas.com/en/webcams/corralejo-flag-beach

Either it's been foggy all week or the lense needs cleaning

My guess is that it's on the kitesurf school.  Anyone care to pop in and tell then to clean up their act?

zedzedeleven

If it`s on the kitesurf school it`s probably sandblasted.

Not foggy, we're in the middle of another calima!

Tomhop

Thanks for all replies, Best answer on foggy views is the calima :) seriously though lots of people use these webcams for weather and beaches etc, looking forward to my next visit, (especially to everybody at The Hello Bar, great memories :))

Just checked and the Campanario one shows Lobos quite clearly and the Waikiki one is also OK.  So probably not the calima, just a dirty/sand blaster lens

(EDIT) I don't think the Waikiki one is working.  It's showing a sunny day but not refreshing, while the Campanario one is showing 8/10th cloud and is refreshing

Sent an email to the kitesurf school and they say it isn't theirs

I'm out in a couple of weeks, so i'll check then

Someone on Flag Beach seems to have got the message.  The picture is much clearer today

Timbo

Waikiki Still not running well. static picture only with unknown date and time. Please get it working soon as I am missing my fix.

Timbo

Still no sign of a working Waikiki webcam. I have emailed them but no reply as yet. They seem to have taken the English side of their website off as well. ??????
