My washing machine interlock door mechanism is not working.

I need a new interlock door mechanism anyone know of anywhere on the island where you can can get spare parts for washing machines? I`m in Correlajo but assume the most likely place is in Rosario.

There are two washing machine repair places in Rosario, but each one specialises in a specific set of makes. I don't have the addresses to hand, but if you got to Electron in Rosario to the help desk to the right as you enter they will supply you with the details at the desk.

House Insurance here usually includes a callout service for repairs. Check your policy.

Just in case anyone else searches for a place to get washing machine spare parts.

Found in Rosario a shop at Commandante Diaz Trayter, 87 (Rosario) this is in ElCharco along from the petrol station (on the same street) on the left as you head towards the power station.

Take the part along and machine make and number and they will probably have the part in stock (well did for me).

Shop number is 928530856

Guy (speaks English) comes out to do repairs his number is 678595969

Glad you found the shop beachlife. Also for reference the shop you mentioned above is called Hijos De Urquia Melian. You did well if you got the repair guy as the shop is usually staffed by a lady who speaks only Spanish. If you don't speak Spanish she's quite happy to communicate if you have a device with Google Translate or similar. They are the official repairer for Fagor, Aspes, Teka, De Dietrich, Whirlpool, Tegran, Beko and Ignis.

For most other makes and not these makes there is a second repair shop on C/ Alcaldes Mayores in Majada Marcial area of Rosario.

Hi chollis didn`t get the guy who speaks English, found out about him from a friend. Managed to make my self understood with my Spanish to the woman in the shop and having the part with me helped and the model number of the (Teka) machine, as meant she could go on to a schematic diagram to see the replacement part.

Incidentally they do parts and repairs for other electrical such as fridges and freezers for anyone looking for repairs etc.
