Is there such a thing / where to buy - a spray gun for emulsion paint?  Bit like the one in uk you can get for spray painting your fences. :D

Assuming you're looking in Fuerteventura then Ideal or Saavedra MIGHT have something suitable, but most spray guns will not handle emulsion type paints without serious dilution to the point at which you're spraying coloured water rather than paint, and will need several coats to get a good finish, especially if you're doing a colour change. The guns that will handle it tend to be professional kit with professional kit prices. Wagner claim some of their "spray stations" (not spray guns) will do the job, but here in the UK you're looking at starting prices of £200 or so and then rapidly escalating. Then you've got the fun of masking up and clearing up over-spray. I do more painting than most folk as I build theatre sets as a hobby and we find that rollers, with brushes for cutting in, are by far the quickest, and with care the cleanest way of getting emulsion on walls.

I have used one of these basic electric spray guns on emulsion paint before & it worked ok. Used it for doing the fancy coving on the old tenement ceilings. Not sure how it would be on a flat wall. Used the same gun for doing wood stain on a new fence, did a great job. I also would think that ideal would have them or Lidl from time to time

Looking forward to the day I tick the "One way only" box when booking flights to Fuerte. [:)]
