Thanks Tamara.
Looks like it is in Puerto - It's a Peugeot & we have the Reg. No!  ;D Thanks for the pic.
Only 1 car & what area is it covering. Do you have any more info? 8)

They could use it to do night road blocks in corralejo as well , as the people committing the robberies during the night must have transport if they are stealing electrical items including tv's.  One road block on the dune road and another out on the larajes road, 2-4am maybe the problem will soon be sorted then.

Thanks Tamara- this is exactly what the Forum is most useful for, and should help many of us to be aware- even though none of us exceed the speed limit ;D

Didn't realise the local wallopers had radars. I thought it was just the Guardia that did speeding......haven't seen any of them in the road for ages, bonus!

vehicle was in use near on the South side of the Mercadona roundabout a couple of days ago. It's a 70km section which a lot of people ignore!!

The vehicle is townhall property so only for municipality of Puerto del Rosario and I would say urban areas only as GC cover interurban roads.

Ah, ok. Didn't know that. As a Land Rover driver, speed limits are largely aspirational....

You can use this link to find out where the various speed cameras are situated on the FV roads:

http://www.laprovincia.es/espana/2017/02/01/queda-mapa-radares-espana/904826.html

Where it says 'puedes buscar radares por provincias' you need to select Palmas, Las. You'll then see various FV roads listed. Fixed cameras have one colour code, blue, and the mobile units are colour coded green. The data for the mobile units gives the Km range in which they might be situated.
