Optician - recommendations?

I've tried one of the opticians in Las Rotundas and not been overly impressed - can anyone recommend a good optician on the island, and preferably one with reasonable prices? Willing to travel anywhere on the island. (Actually, anywhere in The Canaries for the right optician!)
Also, does anyone know whether the opticians here use Chinese manufactured lenses (which are cheaper and nastier) or EU manufactured ones which have to reach a higher standard?
Thanks.

Morning Tamara

A friend of mine who used to live on Lanzarote, but who now lives in Thailand, has for years just went to an Optician to get a prescription, then uses a UK company to make his Glasses, he has to occasionally adjust the frames, but does not have a problem, if interested I will Email him and find out who he uses.

paully

I have used the optician in Corralejo, on the pedestrianised street at the back of the Shell Garage. To be fair was only for a repair, but they were very efficent and professional. The Optician was female and seemed very experienced. Prices were reasonable and the repair quality excellent.
I HATE computer thingyss

Snowdrop

The new one in corralejo on the Main Street just before you reach the big new Sabina shop half way down the high street has had some good write ups.
