Can anyone recommend a very good dentist, I live in Caleta, but I can travel anywhere on the Island. I also live here so I'm not in a rush...

One of my K9's is a crown that has become loose, so I really need a good dentist that speaks English to re-cement it and also register with them. Not bothered about the cost the priority is "QUALITY"

Many thank for any help

Have found the dentist next to Species vets is excellent.  Needed a wisdom tooth out, explained that I have high blood pressure and the names of the medication I'm on so she took my blood pressure before starting and also took it again once she had finished. Of course it was elevated but she let me rest until it was back down to near normal for me. Also explained that if I had any problems I could phone at any time.

wouldn't touch caredent with a barge pole. only interested in "creating" work, like all the other "chains" of dentists. They didn't speak english when I was there, the seller just shoved her tits in my face and expected me to sign the contract, lol.

it's very very very difficult to get a quality dentist in Fuerteventura. u might be lucky, u might not. good luck.

Totally agree. I nearly got seen off a while back in Puerto. 2.000 +â,¬'s for treatment I didn't want. As much as I could do to get out the door without signing! Phew!!! :o

The receptionist at the dental surgery next to Species speaks English. The medical form that has to be completed before any treatment is administered is in Spanish and English. The dentist speaks a little English, so with my basic knowledge of Spanish There were no problems.

Has anyone used them?  Do they speak English?  I may need to visit a dentist while I am on holiday here.

Just to add a direct bit of personal experience yes, I have used them, and they were absolutely superb. The lady dentist spoke little English, but was assisted by the receptionist/dental assistant who does. My Spanish is fair, but some of the language around dentistry was unfamiliar to me, so it helped. I needed a root canal re-done, and a separate filling. I've experienced a few dentists in the UK over the years, good and less so, but the lady at Caletadent is, in my opinion, up there with the very best!

The surgery is well equipped, including my first experience of a 'live' X-ray, and what could have been a painful experience was actually completed with no trauma. Not cheap, but I've found that cutting costs on dentistry rarely pays off! Good luck!

Again just to add on the previous thread. I have used them twice this winter both times for lost fillings one of which was a very difficult reconstruction. In both cases they were excellent . The first one was done by Marta and the second one by I think her name is Eloisa. Marta has hardly any English, Eloisa a little. In both cases the receptionist assisted with language and she speaks very good English.  Both dentists are from Cuba. The receptionist is from Grand Can.  I would definitely recomend them on the dentistry they have done for me.
