Free Plants Cabildo

Yearly campaign to dispense of endemic plants, free to the public, has begun at La Oliva Biological nursery.

10 plants per person; mon Nov 28th -Fri Dec 2nd; 11hrs - 13hrs;

Very busy this morning. A different range of plants this year, so we collected a few.

We were there too. No ID asked for, just had to put your name on a slip, the number you wanted and which variety, up to a maximum of 10 plants per person. It took just under an hour, queuing, choosing and collecting.

Is this actually in La Oliva or is it the new garden centre just off the circunvolacion?  Or somewhere else entirely different?

Leaving LA Oliva towrds Villaverde, turn left and left again at the derelict "English" house; then after a couple of hundred meters turn right onto small road looking upto montaña La Arena. Can't miss it.

Went up today, lovely plants and great staff/advice
