Having passed through the bus station in PdR on a number of occasions, I am intrigued by the market hall above it. I just love proper food markets (e.g. the Boqueria in Barceloan), but hate the usual markets selling tat

From Google searches, I get conflicting results on when it is used and what for.

The best answer i seem to get is from spiritoffuerteventura.com which says

"Puerto del Rosario â€" Bus Station: 09.00am-14.00pm Biosfera Farmers Market (1st & 3rd Sat)"

Is this correct and has anyone ever been?

It's a farmers market. Definitely not selling tat. Great selection of fruit and veg and 3 cheese stalls selling very good goats cheese where you can try before you buy! Also an excellent fresh fish stall. It's gets very busy and you need to get there before 10am otherwise they've sold out of most. If you like to cook at home then you will be impressed with the selection of fresh produce. Not quite La Boqueria, no places to eat but competes on quality of produce. The vendors here have real pride in what they grow.
