Just wondering if anyone has used this real estate company and how their experience was?

Hi Mark09

Welcome to the forum, enjoy using to gains loads of information, filter out the dross.

If you use the forum search, "estate agents", you will come up with lots of threads and posts on peoples different experiences and you then need to draw your own conclusions.  One tip contact a number of agents to see the various properties they have on their books and who responds to your enquiries to your liking, it's all very personal.

Good luck and happy house hunting.

Hi Mark
also a welcome to the forum from me, as WG rightly says it is a mine of information, unfortunately as with all forums not all of it is useful ;).

As for " Fuerteventura House" we out on the island a year or more ago, and did a lot of research before we came out here, I personally have never heard of them, hopefully some one else will have.

Thanks for the replies, been wisiting the island and reading this forum for years. The weather for the last couple of days gave me a chance to check out the property on sale. Is not being a Spanish speaker/ local a big disadvantage?

I t wasn,t for us, We used Bliss properties Martin and his wife Caroline are both English, and Goldacre John Goldacre and his sales manager Nic Tan are both English, Goldacre is a big operation, but still very friendly, Martin specialises in of resort { more rural properties, we finally bought thru Goldacre, but would recommend either.
Goldacre have an in house solicitor which I have said on this forum before, which we used and despite all the dire warnings about in house solicitors and being ripped off by them,it worked sublimely for us, She obtained NIE,s residency, and social security cards for both of us, handled all the house purchase, set up standing orders for electric ,water, community tax plus the Spanish equivalent of council tax, the name of which escapes me at a price she gave us before we went ahead, our involvement was a visit to a notary which she arranged and supplied a translator, a couple of visits to her and it was done, she appeared to work very slowly, but on reflection never missed a deadline,we settled on a property 29 August 2015 and received the keys 15 October 2015.

Also used bliss to buy a place, excellent service, but do the research first!

We rented for 6 months first before buying duplex in Costa Antigua. after further 3 months, bought our current property in Triquivijate and rented out our duplex on long-term managed rental. last year we sold the duplex, still living here in Triquivijate. For all 4 transactions we used Just4sales in Caleta. Richard and Helen gave us great service and were extremely helpful. They all charge the same percentage rate so no price wars. As has been said already, research, research and research again. make sure the property is in the area you want to be in. good luck.

If this is the same as 'Fuerteventura-Casas' in Costa Calma, the proprietor is Jorge who I have known for many years. A very nice gentleman, he is German and has their work ethics.
