cheap beach towels

Hi all
We arrive in August and thought instead of paying for too much luggage we would buy some cheap beach towels when we get there. we will need to make a supermarket stop en route to Corralejo so does anyone know if Mercadona or maybe Lidl sell cheap towels?

Mercadona probably do not, your best bet is one of the Chinese shops, they are all over the island, There is one near the Water Park in Corraljo, or if you head toward Morre Jable for about 3K there is one on your left which you cannot miss it is next door to Ikea

They have loads in the "Asian" gift shops around Caleta.

Just about every other shop on Corralejo high street has a rack of towels outside, real poor quality most of `em, so don`t pay too much, just the job as a "throwaway", rinse them through now and again and they will last the fortnight.
