El cotillo in july

We usually visit el cotillo in march and October, but are thinking of having a cheeky week 13 July.  How busy will it be in the restaurants and the lagoon beaches.  Are there any mosquitos at this time? Generally how hot /windy is it then? Thanks in anticipation as we don't have long to decide. Cheers.

Unfortunately there is no guarantee it will be the same this year. The weather seems increasingly unpredictable. We have had a few mosquito bites, but that is rare. The swarms of flies we had for a few weeks last summer were worse.

The local are saying October to early March seems to be the settled times, otherwise unpredictable

September to early October has always been the nicest time for us. Not so windy, Still nice and hot and the summer crowds are starting to disappear. You can't beat it.

And the nuddies are back in force on the lagoons as well
