Parking Motorhomes

Just starting to look at parking a motorhome in Fuerte. The hope is to be based in the north for a few months. Any advise please.

I've no doubt there are rules and regulations, which someone will provide. However, from my observations it's pretty clear you can park up just about anywhere for a night or two. There are a few designated sites for the summer, such as la Caleta or Pozo Negro, but unless you are looking for an extended stop in one place I'd be surprised if you encountered any problems.

Los Milanos is another place where there are always 2/3 motor homes during the summer, very quiet, a handful of houses two restaurants and a beach one end of which is used by naturists but the other end is not

Not sure if 'Los Milanos' is actually meant to be Los Molinos. If so I think you need a permit to park up there - I've seen Policia Locale checking that permits are displayed in windows and moving on those without permits. This is the case in a number of sites and I seem to remember reading that permits have to be applied for quite a while in advance, during a specific window of opportunity.
By coincidence I was talking to someone today who told me there is a parking area for vans/caravans in Corralejo - it is the large tarmac area inside the gates leading to the municipal pool (just above Mercadona) and it apparently has a discharge point for chemical loos. Even if you park up elsewhere this would presumably be a useful place to visit every now and then! They also told me that they top up with water at the petrol station in La Oliva - 1â,¬ for 50L.

Correct, past Mercadona and turn right at the roundabout towards the golf course. There is an access road on the right to where you can park up. Funnily enough I have seen the policia locale make regular visits there also.

It was meant to be Los Molinos sorry drop to much wine I did not realise you require permits there, we were there for lunch on Wednesday, and there were 3 there then, and I am sure at least one was there all summer last year
