Freeview Play

Noticed today, ironically whilst watching ZKTV, that Freeview Play are now advertising their 'free internet TV' service.

It's a UK Only service, so will more than likely have DNS and proxy checkers to stop overseas use outside of their licensed territory.

There's also a new Freeview TV Guide App, which presumably will soon enough be updated to include a Watch Now button.

I had a look at this but it seems to be that the Freeview service works off a TV AERIAL on a UK roof and the internet bit for catchup just picks up BBC iplayer and ITV hub, same as you can get now and has a built in hard drive to record things. Anyway, good luck and keep us 'posted', but the cheapest I saw was 200 pounds for a box in Argos.
