Detained at GC airport concealing hashish

A man was detained at Gran Canaria airport on January 31st after arriving on a flightfrom Malaga.

The 40 year old foreign national, identified with the initials K.L., raised suspicion due to his behaviour. Guardia Civil officers A medical examination was performed due to suspicions that he had concealed prohibited substances.

He was taken to University Hospital Insular de Gran Canaria, where, after several days, he finally expelled 102 capsules of hashish in small packages, with a total weight of 1.1 kilograms.
