The Winter Fuel Allowance, WFA, for British Pensioners Abroad has now stopped, I just had it confirmed by pensions office in Newcastle. But we still get the 10 quid Xmas pressie.

Apparently we are too warm in the winter in Spain  :o

If we get a few more weeks like the one we've just had it will be too warm here at home as well....

I've worked very hard this year gathering wood for my stove, so I will just have to manage without the £200. 8) 8) 8)

Just to change the subject slightly, still about pensioners.

For those that are now resident and receiving state pension, do you pay Spanish Tax on it and if so, what are the personal allowances over there?

Looking forward to the day I tick the "One way only" box when booking flights to Fuerte. [:)]
