We are just back from our second visit to fuerteventura and again had a fantastic time.we again spent some time in the dunes getting an all over tan We are planning on going back next year and are looking for any recommendations for a hotel to stay that fits the following  so we can also get an all over tan at the pool if we wanted
1. Nice hotel
2 not expensive
3 north part of the island
4 and this is the big one, some place that is clothing optional, I really enjoy getting that all over tan,  but the wife sometimes prefers to keep her swim suit on or at other times take it off. So we are looking for somewhere that we can either be clothed or not.

Thanks
Jazz

its great to see that you enjoyed it both of you, have you thought on the infiniti place or try owners direct, you never know ,it may help, hotels tend to be expensive. :)

hi jan and paul
I take it owners direct and infiniti are villa rentals?

janandpaul

yes to one-owners direct are on the web, check out the other as well, might suit, worth a look, you never know

Infiniti is a British run complex of about a dozen apartments about halfway between the longbeaches and the Campanario Centre. They are very friendly and totally textile tolerant.
Web site at www.fuerteventurasunclub.co.uk

The other one you may like is the German run Gran Natura Hotel, situated at the Corralejo end of the long beaches. They speak excellent English and are also swimsuit tolerant.
Their English web site is http://www.granhotelnatura.com/index.asp?taal=en or you can book a package through Chalfont Holidays http://www.chalfontholidays.co.uk/

The Gran Natura is not clothing optional or as jg claims swimsuit tolerant -,it is a self proclaimed naturist resort. It is common for people to wear a wrap walking to/from the pool, areas and there is a common sense approach to people covering up in the pool areas because of weather conditions and sunburn etc. but anybody who wishes to use the pool areas/sauna/hot tubs as a textile would not be very popular.

jg

Agreed - I got the clothing tolerant and swimsuit tolerant round the wrong way.   :-[

Gran Hotel Natura is fine with people covering up for any purpose other than hiding your body. I've been fully clothed there in the autumn when I reckoned it was cold (I'm resident here) and covered when I've had too much sun. But swimsuits? Hmm... Definitely not in the pool.

The Dutch owners and employees better not read this, they will feed you to the goats
