Ole Man River

Today I saw my first Vv signs on Tamaragua.
Is this as good as spotting the first Swallows of summer??? 8) 8) 8)

Ivemovedon

are they still being dished out?.

Ole Man River

Well yes, obviously, if your Name is NortySur!
Being Htt. might not be good enough as probably even the Pope would struggle to get one!

Ivemovedon

It beggars belief that something that could have been so easily sorted to the benefit of all, turned into such a long running saga of maybe's, might's, could be's and don't knows. Yeah i know its Spain and i forgive that...but not spain and stupidity.

Sorry but what does Vv mean?

I'm guessing that the houses that have just been refurbished have got the Vv plaque,  the ones owned by North sur that have been empty for year???

Yes spot on Red they are now Vivienda Vacational. So  they are licenced for holiday letting.

Vv = vivienda vacacional.  It's the legal licence to let out properties for short term holiday lets.  There's been loads of info on it.

If they've paid for it, they've been ripped off.

Opinion seems to be from most i've spoken to about it including the views of a solicitor is hold fire with any applications which require payment until these laws are confirmed and set in stone. As stated by Eduard there are still ongoing discussions about how the final outcome will look on paper. But i think whatever happens you will have to go through the Vv application process at some stage if you wish to rent. As before though the main issue will boil down to who will be able to rent and who won't.

Yes at last we will have 4 less empty unkempt houses to look at on Dracaena and Brezzo !
All 4 have been fitted out very nicely to a high standard and will be holiday lets as an experiment for Norty Sur.
If you had not noticed they have also refurbished and opened 2 or 3  units on Calle Drago for storing furniture etc to manage their other rented properties on Tamaragua.

Ivemovedon

When i was buying 12 years ago i was informed by those supposedly in the know that tamaragua was a purpose built residential complex created for the people who worked in Corralejo.( Unsure of the truth in it) For those not in touristic areas if you can get a Vv there you should be able to get one anywhere.

I take its no coincidence that the ones they have done up( well the ones ive seen) are opposite the pool on manz 10 ,hoping this might hurry the pool opening up then  ;D

Hi Red, the refurbishment of the Pool is due to start any day now (Spanish any day now) according to the EGM meeting held recently.
Then any new rowdy holiday makers will be able to float face down in the pool all night long to their hearts content. 8) 8) 8)

Don't think Nortysur or the letting agency are concerned about the M10 pool, the refurbished Villas have their own pools!

First visitors are in tonight!

Elite of the forum

ummh didnt think they had pools in, oh well its still being refurbed  ;) ;) ;) ;)

Excellent news for all those on Tam who used to go to Pueblo to use their pool and will now be able to go to Man 10, and be a nuisance there instead.

Ole Man River

Well beachlife quite likely already a nuisance,  manzana 10 is without street lights again tonight. Digging machine has been working there. ???????

Go and speak to people on PC.  They have had to put a padlock on one side gate because of Tam residents using the pool.

Elite of the forum

So how did these people get in , granted I've never attempted to use it and only been over once to look since it opened but non residents couldn't get in then so whats changed on Pueblo since ?

Gates do not always work (break/get broken?) also holiday makers hold gates open for other people. I watch Spanish groups of children walking by my house especially days when schools are closed (seems to be every other week that schools close for a day for a saint ) with their towels towards PC. The padlock on one side was put on because one of the password locks was not working.

I was at a friends by the side of the pool when a group of Spanish children were in from Tam and he had to request (a later stronger than this actually) to leave as they were not residents or guests on PC (not the first time he as acted as PC Plod).

New VV sign just appeared on a block of apartments in Morro Jable, at the same time they put them up for sale. 1million euro, inc a local.
1st we've seen down this end, so Pajara are still issueing licences, and in a tourist town.

Elite of the forum

so on all this i hope they dont charge us on Manzana 10 for exclusive access as it isnt going to work if PB is owt to go by
