Spelling mistake on Easyjet booking.

Made a spelling mistake on an Easyjet booking. Web and CS recorded message both say this can be sorted at the airport bag drop for free. 'er indoors isn't happy at this, and wants it done sooner. If I do it now on the web, they are after £248! Has anyone else done this, and corrected name at the airport for free without hassle?

Will they really notice? I've often wondered this....to be honest I doubt it.

This cropped up on one of those "airline" programs and the general rule was an obvious simple spelling mistake, like for instance a name on the boarding card not identical to the name on the passport would not stop the person boarding. I guess anyone can generate a typo. A definite no no was the buffoon who wrote his baby`s name on his own passport, together with a glued on photograph of the child. Refused boarding.

I spelt our friends names wrong when I did their booking, it was Ryan Air and no one noticed!
