HTT, the comment was tongue in cheek and refered back to an old TV comedy the name of which escapes me in which a young man, a committed communist, shouts "Power To The People". I guess you are too young to remember it.

No not too young thats for sure but i had to think long and hard to remember it.

Well, in the Antigua elections, APA won 7 seats and have teamed up with PP, 2 seats, to get a majority on the council.

The media are still saying that APA will govern in minority. Nobody wants to talk to them.

Not surprising really since the leader is a convicted criminal - 1,5 years in jail for bribery, disqualified for 6 years and fined, whilst he was mayor of Antigua back in 2005.

I wonder how many foreigners knew of this before voting!!

In any case, ruling as a minority will be useless for Antigua. Interesting times ahead.
