Wish I was there for it :-)

Me too (saw Queen with Freddy 3 times in the late 70's / early 80's), and saw the original members minus Freddy (but with Adam Lambert a couple of weeks ago).

Don't get excited. It's a Queen "Tribute Band". There are loads in the UK, Tenerife, Benidorm.

Anyone know if the tickets are available at Padilla in Corralejo or just in Puerto?
ps. I'm 'excited', doesn't take much out here! We don't exactly get the 'real' top names performing on the island - our choice for living here, so I'll take what we can get, even the supporting local bands!
Saw Freddy at Wembley - what a night! Can't recreate it, but as it says on the tin, it's a tribute.

Had a lovely evening with a group of friends at the concert. It was quite well attended although not as many people as I had expected. It was billed to start at 9.30pm and to be fair the supporting group, who were very good, started soon after then. But, the Queen tribute didn't start until about 11.15pm by which time I was thinking about my bed. It was worth staying up for although we left at 1.20am when the Queen band finished - leaving loads of people to enjoy a disco that was just starting!
Definitely worth 5â,¬!
