Ryannair mobile app boarding cards

Hi All,

Returning to the UK tomorrow I have already checked in via the mobile app and have two boarding cards on my tablet. This will be my first time not presenting a piece of paper.

My question. The paper boarding pass I presented for the outbound journey stated that I have a piece of prepaid sports equipment for the hold whereas nothing is detailed on the mobile boarding card for the return leg. Can I rest assured that inspite of this paired down electronic boarding pass on my tablet not showing any such item, they will not blink at the check in desk when I present them with a large piece of sports baggage that I have already paid for ?

Ernie,

I suggest that you double check your booking online, and make sure your luggage was booked both ways.

You can always keep a copy of the booking open on your tablet to prove this.

When flying Ryanair from EMA last year with sporting gear going one way, at the check in I presented my boarding pass on my iPhone app, which was accepted but the check in staff went and printed me a paper boarding pass to stick the green baggage receipt on. There was no extra cost just a time delay. So not sure what you should do? Print the return boarding pass off at an internet café would be the safest, you would also see if your baggage was on it. Just a quick update on this.

No problems at all. The check-in woman could see that I was entitled to one piece of sports luggage even though it wasn't shown anywhere on the electronic boarding card. I was worried when waiting in line as someone behind me showed me that their piece of standard luggage was shown on their phone, but clearly RA haven't extended this feature to non-standard luggage yet.

But no problems at all, except for being back in the UK
