New Puerto del Rosario Garden Centre To Open

There's a new billboard up, opposite the main entrance to the Las Rotundas Shopping Centre, showing that the new Oasis Park Garden Centre will open on December 12th. Itis near the petrol stations, just off the ring road, on the Tetir/La Oliva road.

Drove past it yesterday. Looks like the entrance is off the roundabout slip road as you would go down the airport.
Not sure where the exit is?

A lot of palms (hand palms) greased to get the loan for this project I suspect. Over â,¬1million I read in Canarias 7. I see the "usual suspects" are there at the inauguration, especially the one on the left

We visited the garden centre this morning and it's very good.

Access is by a new road at the back of the petrol station.  It's an awkward entrance especially if you come from the Puerto direction.  You have to drive up to the Don Felipito picnic area entrance and then turn round and drive back down the hill to turn in.

It's new opening hours are 10am - 7pm - so is open at siesta time.

It is closed on New Years Day.
