Nude Boat Trips

I like the idea of a boat trip around the island 'au naturel' and since nude cruises seem popular elsewhere I wondered if anyone has any experience or knowledge about the availability of such trips from Corrie ?

decho

Sounds like a good start-up business for someone.
Anyone know of a boat for sale? ;)

jg

While there is nothing advertised that I have ever come across, I'm sure almost any of the existing boat trip operators would do it for the asking, provided you put together a party who could pay enough to make it profitable.

Anyone fancy organising something end of June / beginning of July ? We'd be up for it !

It can't be too difficult to arrange, surely?
You've just got to speak to the boat owners by the harbour and ask what it costs for a private charter. Most would probably do it for the right price.
It's only naked people, make it clear that there's no sex involved.
It could well be that there's already events going on, but not publicised.

Talk to people, you'd be surprised what you can achieve with a little effort.

spongebob squarepants

No it's probably not that difficult to organise if like many on this forum you live in Fuerteventura ! On the other hand if you're only there, like us for 2 weeks how easy do you think it is to organise, including getting enough interested punters prepared to pay ?

isleswing

If this is your first visit to the Island, then organising anything yourself is impossible.
However, Catlanza's advert on the right of your screen should be your first port of call. They may well run cruises that they don't advertise on here. They do offer private charter,  and might put you on to someone who does the cruise you're looking for. Otherwise, scout round the harbour when you're in resort.

I reckon it's a lot more likely to succeed than a lot of the business start-ups here.

Organising something yourself is all well and good if you come complete with your own party, or you're willing to risk going out alone with a local who may or may not be be competent and trustworthy. But having something professionally organised is a much surer way of doing things. It doesn't have to be a massive boat but it would be good to have it equipped for snorkelling and sunbathing, with snacks available, and somewhere interesting to head for.

I wouldn't be interested myself as I hate small boats, but I'd like to see the service made available for others. Any enterprising souls out there?

Frankly, I think it really needs to be an established pleasure boat operator to run it. There's enough paperwork to carry paying passengers in the UK, so I wouldn't like to think about starting a new boat venture in the Canaries.
Tip - send a 20 year daughter and friend round to do the negotiating, it'll dramatically improve the chances of persuading an operator to do nude trips
;D  ;D  ;D

Hi Folks - I have organised a naturist boat trip before. The boat takes a maximum of 12 people, and a 4 hour charter including food, drink etc costs 55€ per head, but you would have to have a minimum of 8 - 10 people as it would have to be a naturist only trip.

If people are interested pop into my office 9Where Abouts in Corralejo) and we can see if we can orhanise something.

How about suggesting to the organisers that they reserve a regular slot for us nudies, with advertising in the right places as well as generally? With the first one between 28th June and 10th July? Perhaps the first ----day of each month? They could insist on advance booking of a couple of days so they'd have the possibility of fitting in a textile one if there wasn't enough naturist interest. There are so many people here who claim to be naturists, although some won't strip off on our mixed beaches: they like to have a sign up to reassure them that it's OK.

We don't normally do touristy things, being residents, but there's a chance we'll make an exception for this one. No promises though as boats with sails frighten me.

Completely agree Sheila - I wish some of the organisers would do some organising. There seems to be an untapped tourist (and residents) market here.

When we stayed at Infiniti last Sept we were told that if enough guests expressed interest they could organize  a catamaran naturist trip so it is obviously possible. Don't know which catamaran owner though.

If you go down south of the island there's no inhibitions at all - all the beaches are CO, and everyone mixes in together! Not sure about boat trips though. Most of the boats out of Morro Jable bring us back our lovely evening meals!
We all know about the beaches ! The post relates to boat trips !

Calm down! I was just pointing out that nudity is alive and kicking here in the south of the island, but that the boats out of MJ are most certainly for fishing only! :P

jg

I went on a nude charter with Fuertecharter http://www.fuertecharter.com/ from Corralejo harbour earlier this month. I understand that the cost is about 400 euros for up to 12 participants.
